Jennifer Love Desperate feels like a 'fool' for crush

Jennifer Love Hewitt is feeling the pain of rejection. Yes, the girl who all the boys wanted to date in the late '90s is feeling the sharp sting that comes with getting turned down for a date. What's worse? It's happening in public.

"The moment when you make a comment about something or someone and the world makes you feel like a total fool. #keepcrushesquiet," The Client List actress tweeted on Friday. "Thank you to @adamlevine for being so gracious on Ellen about my crush heard round the world. I've learned a lesson.#Sssh."

We can't say we wouldn't feel the same way JLH does — she was basically humiliated on live television. It all went down when Ellen DeGeneres asked Adam Levine about his famous admirer.

"It was really sweet and flattering. Beautiful life, you know, when a beautiful woman says nice things about you," he told the talk show host of Hewitt's admitted crush on him. However, The Voice judge said he was "cool" when she offered to hook him up on a date with Hewitt.

Ouch. Ouch, ouch, ouch. We could say that Levine is just nursing his broken heart after breaking up with his Russian supermodel girlfriend Anne V. — and he might be — but something tells us that he's more worried about his own image. Can't date a has-been when you're a super-hot musician and television star, right? Still more Victoria's Secret supermodels who need boyfriends.

And why is he single? It sounds like the once hot-and-heavy couple cooled off when Levine wouldn't talk marriage. The reason? Levine needs to "study" marriage first, he told Paper Magazine.

"I want to study marriage," he revealed. "I want to learn about it, I want to know it. I want to figure out whether or not I want to do it. I'm not just going to leap into it, because that's not good for anybody."

Basically, that's guy code for "I want to play the field." Nothing wrong with that, Adam — just call it what it is.

Lindsay Lohan has the Glee cast and crew complaining

The season three finale of Glee is already set to be bittersweet. Not only are the McKinley High kids headed to Nationals once again, but they're saying goodbye to their graduating seniors.

Add a difficult guest star like Lindsay Lohan into the plot and you've got yourself a new kind of nightmare.

Last week, one Glee source told E! News that the actress' scene last week went "really great, she was so professional and it looked like everything was going to go so well." Well, that was last week's script.

"Lindsay was a total nightmare yesterday," said a different source on the set. "She was three hours late in the morning, and when she did finally arrive, she just didn't want to be there. She did not want to work. She had not memorized her lines, and she kept disappearing so no one could find her."
Rosie O'Donnell: I don't want Lindsay to go out like Whitney >>

The recovering party girl was so late that production sent a car to the Chateau Marmont hotel in Hollywood to haul her to work. Staffers refer to her as "That Girl," adding, "She has rubbed them all up the wrong way by being so disrespectful of everyone else's schedule."

Lindsay's spokesman Steve Honig attempted to clarify that the actress was late yesterday due to a "misunderstanding" about her call time.

"The production team came to us and said that they wanted to start [with Lindsay] right after lunch, which was at two," he explained on her behalf. "They wanted to begin with Lindsay at three, so that meant she had a lot of time where she wasn't doing anything. That's why people didn't see her. She was then in hair and makeup and began after lunch at three."
Lindsay Lohan: I'm awesome & I know it >>

However, Honig says it's just another opportunity to kick the starlet while she's trying to finally get back on her feet.

"This is utter B.S.," he said. "This is a classic example of people trying to bash Lindsay. She busted her ass yesterday and is back on set again today."

Despite these negative comments, another Glee source held a more positive attitude about the matter. "Everyone on Glee is still rooting for Lindsay. We had made a few jokes at her expense earlier in the show, and we really do want her to be able to succeed."

Dwight Howard's Baby Mama Dear Judge ... Please Let Me Trash My Ex

Dwight Howard's baby mama -- "Basketball Wives" star Royce Reed -- desperately wants the freedom to publicly trash talk her ex ... so she's asking a judge to lift the gag order that forces her to keep her mouth shut.

Royce had agreed to gag herself  back in 2009 in her never-ending, bitter custody dispute with Dwight.  But Reed now has a few things on her mind that she wants to share with anyone who will listen.  Reading between the lines, here's what she wants to say:

Dwight is not morally fit to have custody of their son
Dwight's mental state is sketchy
Dwight has funny substances laying around the house the kid shouldn't see
And she has other horrible things she wants to say about Dwight

Mind you, those are just allegations, but she wants to file legal docs making these allegations and she wants the documents available to the public.

A judge has yet to rule on the request.

Miley Cyrus warns Jennifer Lawrence: Hands off Liam Hemsworth, he's mine!

We thought The Hunger Games' jabberjays, tracker jackers and careers were vicious.

But as the film's star Jennifer Lawrence battles CGI creatures on screen, she's caught up in a real-life war with a green-eyed monster: Miley Cyrus, girlfriend of her hunky co-star Liam Hemsworth.

In the hit film, Liam, 22, plays Gale Hawthorne, one of the love interests of Jen's character Katniss Everdeen.

But while he and Jen, 21, work the publicity circuit, behind the scenes, things are decidedly frosty between Jen and Miley.

'It started when Miley tried to give Jen advice about handling fame,' says our source.

'It was a bit of an insult as Jen's been working since she was 15 - and has already been nominated for an Oscar for Winter's Bone.'

'So Miley got the shock of her life when Jen told her to mind her own business.'

'Now it's pretty much all-out war.'With relations already strained, Miley, 19, blew her top after Liam, whom she's been dating for three years, started raving about what fun it was on set.
