Christina Ricci: Engaged to James Heerdegen

Months after she was first spotted with a new diamond ring on her finger, the star's rep confirms that she is engaged to dolly grip boyfriend James Heerdegen.

A couple months back," Ricci said Friday, asked when Heerdegen, who worked on Ricci's short-lived ABC series Pan Am, popped the question.

This will be the first trip down the aisle for Ricci, 32, who was briefly engaged a few years ago to Owen Benjamin. How's she feeling about the event?

I worked so much last year that I just really wanted to have some time off to just kind of live," she said. "You kind of need to take time to be a real person.

Megan Fox Debuts Incredible Post Baby Body

The gorgeous Megan Fox made her first official red carpet appearance since giving birth to her son Noah September 27th. Fox and her hubby Brian Austin Green attended the March of Dimes Celebration of Babies at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

Nigella Lawson: My mother didn't like me and said she'd hit me till I cried

Nigella Lawson has revealed that she and her three siblings were hit by their mother Vanessa Salmon when they were children.

The TV cook says Vanessa was often depressed and 'so sensitive' to noise that she'd lash out even at the sound of a plastic bag being crinkled.

'She'd shout at all of us and say: "I'm going to hit you till you cry," and so I never would cry. I still don't,' says Nigella, 52.

'It wasn't a calculated thing; it was hot-blooded hitting, a thrashing out of things.'

Nigella admits that her relationship with Vanessa - who died aged 48 in 1985 after a battle with liver cancer - improved as she got older but that she would sometimes say 'incredibly hurtful' things to her.

She feels that her mother had a soft spot for her older brother Dominic.

'I never thought I could please her. She just didn't like me; maybe because I came after Dominic the princeling and I was my father's girl and she was jealous, I don't know,' Nigella tells the Daily Mail.

'I would say I'm sorry for whatever it was, some mess, and she'd say: "Why do you think being inconsiderate is an excuse?

Colin Farrell talks about life after rehab

 

Colin Farrell checked into rehab in 2006, and he is amazed at how much his life has improved since that day. He opened up to Perez Hilton about how much his life has changed now that he is no longer constantly doing drugs and drinking.

"I've got eight hours a day now that I didn't have before, when I was drinking every day for 18 years," he said. "It's honest; it's real. That's quite simply the coolest thing."

And that change has affected more than just Colin Farrell's life; it has affected the life of his son, James, who was born in 2003, three years before Colin decided he had a problem and had to do something about it.

"When I had James, I made a decision not to change," he said. "I literally said, 'I'm not changing! I'm gonna be his friend!' Like a f***ing 28-year-old, drug-addicted, drunk friend is exactly what my six-week-old son needs."

But he said he became sick of lying to his friends and family and was struggling in his life. The lies were not just about the drinking and drugs, he began to lie about everything in his life.

"Oh, I wouldn't tell a truth all day. If I'd had chicken and beans for dinner, I'd tell you I had steak and potatoes," he told Hilton. "No purpose, just habit. The amount of energy you have to put in and the amount of lies you have to tell to keep a drug habit alive, it's fairly significant. Your whole life is a lie."

It sounds like Farrell hasn't given up drinking altogether, but he is doing it more like a normal person. His son is almost 10 years old now and is probably happy he has at least eight more hours a day with his father. The actor's career also continues to go strong. He is currently in the middle of filming Saving Mr. Banks, which stars Tom Hanks and Emma Thompson (among others). Farrell also has three other projects in the works.

Lively and Reynolds' wedding didn't mean they were married

Sept. 9, for many, will always be known as the day that Ryan Reynolds went off the market. But it turns out Reynolds and Blake Lively weren't actually married that day, even though Sept. 9 was the date the couple held their ceremony at an old plantation in Charleston, South Carolina.

According to Perez Hilton, the couple didn't even officially file for their wedding license until Sept. 13. And, because processing those licenses takes 24 hours in South Carolina, Lively and Reynolds were not married (officially) until Sept. 14.
So how could the couple miss such a big detail? Chances are good that it wasn't an accident. Hilton said because they wanted to keep the wedding private, they couldn't risk the chance of filing for the license before their ceremony.
"And they succeeded!! Even the cake baker had no idea what was going on," said Hilton. "They just thought it was a normal client order."
Many other people in attendance also either didn't know they were going to a wedding or were told to keep it confidential.
"Oh and the lil kids who sung at their ceremony?? Their parents were made to sign nondisclosure agreements before they could participate," Hilton continued. "But now they have bragging rights that we're sure are already on countless bumper stickers."
Florence Welch + the Machine and Better Midler, who also performed at the ceremony, have not mentioned nondisclosure agreements, but it wouldn't have been too out of the ordinary to have them sign one also.
Ryan Reynolds is a regular visitor to Charleston, and when he started dating Lively, he brought her there often. Residents seem to appreciate Reynold and Lively's love of their city so much that even if they had known, they might have protected the couple as their own.
For many of us whose hearts were broken Sept. 9, it looks like we legally still had a chance for another five days. If only we had known.

Little Mix star Jesy Nelson in 'kidnap threat' by drug gang

Jesy Nelson's brother Johnny Nelson has been given a 10-month suspended sentence after being convicted of selling cocaine.

The unemployed sibling of the Little Mix star, who had a £100-a-day coke habit he's now quit, claimed in court he was forced to sell drugs after a drug dealer 'discussed' trying to abuct the 20-year-old singer.

Johnny testified: 'I spoke to him (Mr Turner) on the phone - he had threatened to kidnap my sister because she had just become famous.

'He called me again and said, "You will have to do me a few favours".'

The 23-year-old also claimed his arm was broken when three men working for the dealer assaulted him with a wooden baseball bat.

He was ordered to complete 200 hours' community service and pay £600 court costs, reports the Daily Mirror.

The season three finale of Glee is already set to be bittersweet. Not only are the McKinley High kids headed to Nationals once again, but they're saying goodbye to their graduating seniors.

Add a difficult guest star like Lindsay Lohan into the plot and you've got yourself a new kind of nightmare.

Last week, one Glee source told E! News that the actress' scene last week went "really great, she was so professional and it looked like everything was going to go so well." Well, that was last week's script.

"Lindsay was a total nightmare yesterday," said a different source on the set. "She was three hours late in the morning, and when she did finally arrive, she just didn't want to be there. She did not want to work. She had not memorized her lines, and she kept disappearing so no one could find her."

The recovering party girl was so late that production sent a car to the Chateau Marmont hotel in Hollywood to haul her to work. Staffers refer to her as "That Girl," adding, "She has rubbed them all up the wrong way by being so disrespectful of everyone else's schedule."

Lindsay's spokesman Steve Honig attempted to clarify that the actress was late yesterday due to a "misunderstanding" about her call time.

"The production team came to us and said that they wanted to start [with Lindsay] right after lunch, which was at two," he explained on her behalf. "They wanted to begin with Lindsay at three, so that meant she had a lot of time where she wasn't doing anything. That's why people didn't see her. She was then in hair and makeup and began after lunch at three."

However, Honig says it's just another opportunity to kick the starlet while she's trying to finally get back on her feet.

"This is utter B.S.," he said. "This is a classic example of people trying to bash Lindsay. She busted her ass yesterday and is back on set again today."

Despite these negative comments, another Glee source held a more positive attitude about the matter. "Everyone on Glee is still rooting for Lindsay. We had made a few jokes at her expense earlier in the show, and we really do want her to be able to succeed."

In 2009, a 19-year-old named Kylie Bisutti scored the modeling opportunity of a lifetime when she won the Victoria's Secret Model Search, joining seasoned pros like Marisa Miller and Heidi Klum on the world's sexiest (and campiest) runway.

But Bisutti is no longer interested in being an Angel—at least not under the Victoria's Secret brand, anyway. "I'm a strong-believing Christian," Bisutti explained. "I just became so convicted about wanting to honor my husband with my body, and wanting to be a role model for other women out there who look up to me."

Kylie, who says her husband is "thankful" about her decision, isn't going to quit modeling: "I just want to be more wholesome about it, and the jobs that I choose are always going to be honoring the Lord."

Thankfully, since becoming engaged to Katie Price's ex Alex Reid and becoming pregnant with her first child, she's felt much more content.

'What was I thinking? I was going out and getting drunk and spending the whole of the next day hungover,' Chantelle tells Fabulous.

'It was horrible. I'd hate to go back there now.'
