Lindsay Lohan Actually Lands Modeling Gig

Lindsay Lohan has finally found a job! That pays actual money!

The troubled starlet took a break from making out with her mom and Vikram Chatwal to sign on as the face of designer Philipp Plein’s Spring 2012 collection.

LL will jet over to Milan for the runway show this weekend, according to celebrity fashion blog Fashionista, following in the waifish footsteps of Mischa Barton.

Founded in Munich back in 1998 as a furniture company, the fashion line was introduced in 2004 and the brand has expanded around Europe since.

“Lindsay is a beautiful, highly acclaimed actress and model," the brand said, possibly confused and thinking they hired someone else for the project.

"We will be able to create unique images: Refined and luxurious, but also full of such sensuality,” the company said, presumably without irony.

Lohan will be present at Milan Fashion Week as the Spring 2012 collection is unveiled. Here's an old clip of Lindsay advancing her "modeling career":

This evening Prada presented us with another motif that we'd never have considered before and yet now consider a must-have: cars - cartoon ones. They came printed onto white shirts or appliquéd onto pencil skirts with Thunderbird flames.


This afternoon D&G showed its last ever collection, before it merges with mainline Dolce & Gabbana next season. It came in the form of colourful printed looks, that called to mind Hermès scarves made into beautiful gypsy-inspired dresses.

CBB’s Amy Childs: Don’t call me stupid just 'cos I'm dyslexic

Amy Childs makes us laugh out loud with her daft comments, but the Celebrity Big Brother contestant is so fed up with people calling her stupid that she's decided she wants to go back to college.

The 21-year-old's planning to take distance learning courses after the show to prove she has brains as well as good looks.

Amy's also in talks to appear on her own reality show. It'll see her travelling around the globe learning about different cultures and beauty treatments.

‘She went to a private school, where she was head girl, and she's actually very bright,' says a pal.

‘Amy's dyslexic and that's held her back in the past. But she isn't going to let it stop her any longer.

‘She's got loads planned for after Big Brother, but she really wants to take some distance learning courses. She's very much about improving herself.'
